PROCESS

When working together, it’s our focus to ensure not only a beautiful and functional interior that you love, but to have a smooth and enjoyable process getting to that end result we all desire. This is a measurement of success that we try to best organize and plan accordingly so that while walls are torn down and materials installed, you can have a delightful experience going through this significant process.

IT ALL STARTS WITH IDEAS

Whether you have a clear idea of what you want in your new space, or you want us to help you figure that out, every remodeling project starts at the concept level and grows from there. When you begin, you’ll want to at least know the basics- what areas of the home you want to change, and what you’re hoping to achieve. As we move through the process, we’ll help your ideas grow and guide you as it moves from just a thought to something real.

IT BUILDS ON TRUST

We understand that starting a remodel can feel like a big risk, and all the steps needed can be overwhelming for some. We've built our company on a foundation of Trust and Respect for you, your home, your budget, and your time. To us, you're not just another remodel. We're committed to providing to you an exceptional design and to producing the finest client experience.

IT EVOLVES INTO TEAMWORK

While we do the detailed planning for your project, there are of course things you will do as well. After providing your input on the initial design plans, we’ll sit down with you for a complete plan and contract presentation. This presentation is where we’ll share the polished working plan, a detailed scope of work, and go over your full contract agreement.
Once you’ve accepted our contract, you’ll enter the Selections Phase. This is when you get to finally pick out the cabinets, counters, flooring, and other materials that will be used in our remodel and when your project idea will really begin becoming a reality as you start to see how the elements come together.
This is also when the schedule for your remodel begins to be set, including the estimated start date.

PROJECT EXPECTATIONS

"How long will my project take? ...What will my project cost?"

These are some of the most important questions you might have about your remodeling project. Without knowing all the details of your specific project, however, it’s difficult for us to precisely answer them. To guide you, we’ve provided below some of the average timeframes for various project types to help you set some initial expectations for your remodeling project.

PROJECT TIMELINE

The following indicates the average timeframes you can expect for a remodeling project in your home.  These timeframes can vary greatly depending on the size and scope of your remodel, as well as many other key components unique to your project or dictated by manufacturing and market conditions. Within each stage, there are also several integral “behind the scenes” actions happening such as pulling permits, getting variances when needed, and ordering the materials for your project. We do our best to create a structure and communicate the process to allow you to still live life in your home in the midst of the disruption of a remodel.

***Due to the current volatility in the construction industry we are experiencing delays in some materials, finish products and appliances which could affect these timeframes on an individual project basis.

Construction Phase Timeframes

  • Kitchen Update : 6-10 Weeks

  • Kitchen : 12-16 Weeks

  • Bathroom : 10-14 Weeks

  • Room Addition : 4-6 Months

  • Whole House Projects : 6-12 Months

ESTABLISHING BUDGET

After we’ve had the chance to get to know one another, we will collaborate to establish a realistic budget. We’ll help you understand what current labor and material costs are. We are not a budget remodeler; we give quality estimates that are meant to inform you instead of surprise you. You’ll let us know what is feasible for you, so we’re sure to help you balance your goals with the project.

MURPHY’S LAW

If something can go wrong, it will. Thankfully, teamwork, communication, and coffee will usually get things back on track.
